New Platform Improves Rental Experience Vera Bailey built a dominant regional reputation with her top quality rental products and amazing service. Tower Agency stepped in when an outdated website began to make operations difficult for both her and customers. After several years of work with a variety of amazing clients, Vera is the only one to have built her own eCommerce website with almost no outside help. This original website enabled her to start a successful business but had several shortcomings which made ordering, fulfillment, and inventory difficult. Her old Network Solutions eCommerce platform was designed for a traditional retail business. Inventory comes in, orders are placed, and inventory goes out, never to be seen again. Sheets at the Beach is a rental business; inventory is returned after a set duration and needs to be tracked based on the dates it is used rather than an overall total. Because of this flaw Vera would ultimately oversell for busy summer weekends, forcing her to purchase more product or shut down her site entirely and lose valuable customers. Tower agents designed the new Sheets at the Beach website with a built-in booking and inventory system. This enables Vera to set a daily limit on the rentals for each of her products,...

It Costs an Arm, a Leg, and a Thigh. Local Delaware comedian Brenda Heckert had a site that did not show her personality and zero ability to build a community around her comedy. We fixed that. A new blog featuring jokes, pictures, and videos helps casting directors, event coordinators, and fans get in touch with her quirky personality. The fun nature she brings to every opportunity is exemplified by her saying “It costs an Arm, a Leg, and a Thigh.” By adding a blogging component to the site she is able to increase community engagement across Facebook, Twitter, and other social sharing sites. View Brenda’s new website and portfolio. Her previous site was limited to a few images and videos with little description of who she was and what kind of roles she plays. This new WordPress build is fully responsive (mobile/tablet/desktop friendly), has a more feminine color tone while at the same time displaying her full catalog of videos in a fan-friendly interface. This is our favorite video by Brenda, and we wish her the best of luck navigating the worlds of acting and...

Coffee, Tea, Chocolate & Good Wholesome E-commerce Fun An entrepreneurial couple in Utah contacted us to fix their e-commerce site that had been in development for over 6 months in the Phillipines… Quickly the Tower agents got to work to diagnose the issues that were being caused with the site and a lot was miss-communication between the developers and the client. The simple tasks had become overly complex pieces of development that were unfortunately not using the WordPress content management system properly. After an initial review and good communication between parties it was off to the races to get the site live, functioning, and ready for orders. Errors with the original theme selected were diagnosed and the site was transferred over to our favorite, Divi by Elegant themes before receiving a comprehensive face-lift and functionality overhaul. And so their site devoted to fine specialty utah coffee was born! The point of this story is to show that diligent troubleshooting and proper client communication can overcome any marketing challenge, even one with a long and expensive track record. Building a site is one page, but building it how the client expects is a totally different novel. A strong balance between expected functionality, quick time to launch, and budget-conscious development allowed the...

Full Width and Responsive Construction Portfolio The original Shoreline site was limited to an image gallery and a brief description. We added a personality with high resolution images to better represent the high quality work produced by this home construction company. A beautiful new website was created to showcase the work performed by this construction company and further position them as a top developer of Nantucket Style beach houses. This downtown Rehoboth beach cottage is one of the featured projects that has been included on the site to represent their design style. The new logo, identity, and re-branded image were created by Tower Agency. This foundation was used to create new letterheads, envelopes and print media to distribute to potential clients. The site is ranking well for the name of the state, the owner’s name and the company’s name. This is good news as “Shoreline” turns out to be a popular regional business name. The site is equipped with SEO techniques but was primarily created to show new projects to prospective clients. Instead of a simple and uninformative image gallery, the Shoreline portfolio now features each property individually on a beautiful and user-friendly platform. The 0% bounce rate shows viewers are consistently interested in exploring new pages on the website....

Stylish Blog and Video Series Inspires Community When Jeff West decided to transition his focus from retail to interior design, the Tower team created a powerful way to stay connected with fans and customers. For years Jeff West Home was a regionally acclaimed source for traditionally hip furniture, unique home goods, and products from local artisans.  Jeff brought his background in Washington D.C. merchandising and his trademark style to this Rehoboth Beach, DE retail store. After 5 successful years, Jeff decided to refocus on his first love as an interior designer. Saying goodbye to the store’s loyal customer base for good just didn’t do justice to Jeff’s hard work, so Tower agents stepped in to create a new virtual community where Jeff could share his ideas, solicit his interior design services, and stay connected with customers. Jeff’s new blog, The J List, allows him to provide valuable interior design knowledge and style advice and maintain an engaged community of fans and clients.  In addition to building this platform, Tower Agency produces and publicizes Jeff’s ongoing video series.  These films include seasonal style ideas and tips for handling common interior design challenges. Conceptualizing, filming, editing, and marketing these short films has become one of the Tower team’s favorite activities. Engaging...
